Midterm Exam

The exam will cover the material study until now:
- Film: Even the Rain, (Icíar Bollaín, Spain, 2010)
- Film: The Year My Parents Went on Vacation, (Cãoo Hamburguer, Brasil, 2006)
- Film: Machuca, (Andrés Wood, Chile, 2004)
- Novel: Álvarez, Julia. In the Time of the Butterflies
The exam will include questions similar to the ones listed in each film study guide and the question of analysis.

You will have to understand the readings on historiography (namely Metahistory) and use them as a theoretical framework.
EXAM: worth 15% of the final grade
1. Six (6) short questions about the films and novels. (6 points each, 36% grade)
2.Four (4) questions taken from the Oral Presentations. (4 points each; 16% grade)
3. Two (2) essays. (24 points each; 48 % grade)
