A canine family becomes the catalyst for human connection in this heartwarming film about a lonely man looking for a way to keep his seven dogs in his apartment despite the neighbors’ threats.
Ernesto lives with his seven dogs in an apartment building in the city of Córdoba, Argentina. His lonely daily routine revolves around his pets’ needs, his health problems, and his money problems. Tired of the constant barking, some of his neighbors arrange a mediation hearing, urging him to take his pets out of the apartment. But Ernesto cannot envision a life without his dogs, and he cannot afford to move elsewhere.
Thanks to the empathy of people who are also lonely, but share common spaces that connect them, Ernesto finds a way to solve the conflict.
Seven Dogs is a simple and bright film on prejudice, finger-pointing, and social harassment.
Una familia canina se convierte en el catalizador de la conexión humana en esta conmovedora película sobre un hombre solitario que busca una manera de mantener a sus siete perros en su apartamento a pesar de las amenazas de los vecinos.
Ernesto vive con sus siete perros en un edificio de departamentos en la ciudad de Córdoba, Argentina. Su solitaria rutina diaria gira en torno a la vida de sus mascotas, sus problemas de salud y sus problemas de dinero. Cansados de los constantes ladridos, algunos de sus vecinos organizan una audiencia de mediación, instándole a sacar a sus mascotas del apartamento. Pero Ernesto no puede imaginarse una vida sin sus perros y no puede darse el lujo de mudarse a otro lugar.
Gracias a la empatía de personas que también se sienten solas, pero comparten espacios comunes que los conectan, Ernesto encuentra una manera de resolver el conflicto.
